SEVENDUST Is A No-Show In Toronto
April 5, 2009Atlanta hard rockers SEVENDUST were forced to cancel their April 4, 2009 appearance at the Sound Academy in Toronto, Ontario with BLACK LABEL SOCIETY after reportedly being denied entry to Canada. Ironically, one of the other bands on the bill, DOPE, was allowed across the border and made it to the gig without an apparent problem.
Musician Photo Journal conducted an interview with SEVENDUST drummer Morgan Rose when the band played Utica, New York with DISTURBED and SKINDRED. Watch the six-minute chat below.
SEVENDUST released a very limited-edition box set in November entitled "Packaged Goods". Each five-disc set is personally autographed by the entire band. The box set includes SEVENDUST's 2005 release "Next", 2007's "Alpha", 2007's "Retrospective 2" (CD + DVD),and 2008's "Chapter VII: Hope & Sorrow".
"Packaged Goods" is available at all Best Buy and Transworld stores: F.Y.E., Coconuts, Wherehouse Music and Spec's Music.
SEVENDUST is currently on the road in support of the band's latest album, "Chapter VII: Hope and Sorrow" (7Bros/Asylum),which came out last spring.
"Chapter VII: Hope and Sorrow" sold 25,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release to land at position No. 19 on The Billboard 200 chart.
SEVENDUST's latest single, "Inside", was added at Active Rock stations across the country with early believers being KFNK/Seattle, KXXR/Minneapolis, WJRR/Orlando, KXFX/Santa Rosa, WZOR/Green Bay and Sirius/Octane.
